Payroll Register

This is so disappointing to me what Sage has done with the Payroll Module. I will have a very hard time recommending Sage to my clients, I have my own business in bookkeeping and have many clients who ask me who they should use for an accounting program. Sage was always the one I referred but now if they are small business and only have 1 or 2 employees who cannot track their payroll why would I recommend them.  

I had a cusomter last week who had their computer crash, had to but a new one and was running Simply Accounting 2010 Premium so had to upgrade to 2016 Sage Premium... She goes to do payroll and calls me.. i can't get in my payroll!!!  Frantic.. When i do the investigating and realize it is no longer available I was horrified that I had told her your upgrade to 2016 will be no problem you will still be able to do all the same things.  

Anyway what I am in the process of doing to try and help her out is get her set up as there is no turning back now, she has 2 employees and does not want to pay extra.  So I am setting up her entries to track her ei, cpp, taxes and WCB but want to set up a spreadsheet to track her payroll for T4's. I have searched excel templates but have come up with nothing that will do what we need to do. I am wondering if someone might be able to send me the direction of a template. I know i could make one but that would be hours of formulas and coding that I do not have right now :(.  

Any suggestions on how to make this stream better would be greatly appreciated.
