HI Barbara, usually if items show up down the road means that some changes were made to the back account such as adjustments or changes on something that was already posted.  You can clear those items that are old.  Just make sure it is just the current items that you know should be outstanding left.

When the entries were adjustments were made she did not do it in the GL she did it to the original posting and it has inflated the bank balance by the amount of the outstanding transactions.  My treasurer who has limited knowledge of Sage believes that to show this there should be double entries in the G/L but there are none, even when I run it with show corrections showing.   My question is should there be double entries.
