Columns on financial report AND project report

Hello everyone,

After reading many others' questions about report format and answers to them,  I believe I already got an answer as "no" from previous posts related to this topic.
However, I want to give a try by throwing a question here.

Is there any way to modify columns on income statement?
Right now, when I go to "report columns" to modify columns, all the buttons for "add" and "remove" are greyed out.
Even if you manage to activate those buttons somehow, I do not see any other columns available for report except those already set up.

Is there any way I can add/remove columns items to Sage?

I have been using other accounting software, and ability to modify/customize is basic and fundamental feature for accounting team.
It is shocking that Sage does not support any customization on financial reports....

At this moment, I am interested in seeing/being able to customize reports as below:
(1) departmental income statement with columns, but instead of department with "project"
=> basically, one consolidated total on the left and all the projects across the columns followed by.
(2) If above is not possible, project allocation report in departmental income statement format.

If anyone has gone through the same pain, any tip/guide would be much appreciated.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

The response that you have found is correct, the simple response is no, the reports can not be modified in that manner. However, there is a solution. Logicim have a product designed for reporting from Sage 50. XLGL has the ability to report on any data that is stored in the Sage 50 tables. The reports are based in advance Excel and can be created by yourself, use one of the myriad that comes 'in the box', or get Logicim to create a custom report. The prices are reasonable and their service is excellent. they are a Sage 50 Development Partner.
