Start New Year 2024

Sorry I am not sure is it the right forumn to ask , but I am having an issue on Simply Accounting Pro 2010.

I finsih all the invoice posting and reconciliations for 2023, I am able to run the reports but it just not allow me to start the new year 2024.

When I check the error log after I ran the Advanced Database Check. Seems there are Historical data issue. I am able to use the dbeaver to link with the database , but without the table schema,  there is no way for me to fix it ?

Not sure does any one encounter the similar issue before and able to give me some hints ?

Thanks in advance.

Caleb

If this is a new company, 2023 is your first year, then you still have History mode open. If all of Historical data has been entered then run a backup, then go to History and click on it. There will be options but remember once you accept the closing of history you can no longer make entries with a date prior to the beginning of the most recent prior year. In fiscal 2023 you can enter back to January 1st, 2022 if your fiscal year is the same as the calendar year. Once you roll forward to 2024 you will only be able to go back to January 1st, 2023.
