Question and need some help.  I am using Sage 50 Pro Accounting.  I am working for an older couple getting their books caught up.  

I created a new year - “Start New Year” and when I go to print a report like Aged Customer or Balance sheet, the system tells me I cannot print because it has to be within the year dates.  Which it is.  

I started a New Year for 2022.

I open and change my session date to 01/31/22.  I post for 01/17/2022 as an example.  Then I tried to run a Customer Aged report and I get an error message saying I cannot run report because dates have to be between 01/01/22 and 01/31/22.  The current year is 2022.  My session date is 01/31/22.  

I restored by backup for 2021.  Then I tried creating a new year again and even without posting anything, I cannot print a report and get same error.   

I do not know what I am doing wrong.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
