a purchase invoice or a sales invoice date in the year of 2015

Question

I've already set the fiscal start 2014-03-01 and fiscal end 2015-02-28, but when I enter 2015-01-27 the date into a purchuse invoice or a sale invoice, Sage says that it should be start a new year. In GL, there is no problem. I can enter the date in the year of 2015 no problem. Why? Thank you very much!

Hi Sylvie Su, 
 it means starting a new Calendar Year but, not a Fiscal Year. 
 Starting a new Calendar Year means the payroll information of current calendar year will be pushed to last calendar year. Your current Calendar Year (again, not fiscal year), will be from 1/1/2015 - 12/31/2015. 
 The only thing you need to pay attention is that after you advance to new Calendar Year, you will not be able to do auto payroll on or before 12/31/2014.
