    Hi  ,

Thank you for reaching out. This specific error isn't directly mentioned in the provided article content, but the issues related to compatibility with Windows 11 are. To ensure BusinessVision 2018 operates correctly on Windows 11, follow these steps:

    1. Windows 11 Compatibility Fix: A known issue for Sage BusinessVision 2018/2019 on Windows 11 involves receiving "Microsoft Runtime C++" errors under various conditions. A compatibility fix is available and may address the error you're encountering. Download and install the Windows 11 fix for BV2018/BV2019 by following these instructions:

      • Download the fix and extract the SageBusinessVisionUpdateForWindows11_79212.
      • Right-click Sage BusinessVision .Net Assemblies.exe and select "Run as Administrator".
      • Follow the prompts until the installation completes.
    2. System Requirements: Ensure your workstation meets the minimum system requirements for Sage BusinessVision 2018. Notably, Windows 11 support requires an additional patch, as outlined in our documentation. Your system should have at least an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 2GB of disk space for application files, with a 16-bit color display at a 1024x768 resolution.

    3. Installation of BusinessVision 2018: If you haven't already, ensure you follow the correct procedure for upgrading to Sage BusinessVision 2018.

If you're still encountering issues or the error message persists after applying the compatibility fix, I recommend reaching out to Sage Support for further assistance.
