Salesperson ID

Hello,

We leave the BV station open where it's logged in as a generic user (ie: Counter1) and in most cases this works fine but for the odd order we'd like to have so that the particular order is attached to the person selling (closeing the order) at that time.

Is there a field for this?  I see that there is a Salesperson field buried in the "Ship-to" tab but it would be much better if there was something on the Item Details tab.

    Hi Dave,

    It looks like you discover how to do this, it is by changing the Salesperson field within the ship-to tab. If you would like to do this quicker, you can setup ship-to IDs for each of you salesperson for the customer, that way you can change the ship-to associated with your salesperson from browsing the Ship-to ID field from the top part of the Order Entry screen.

    If the person closing the order signs in with their own BV password, then you could always create a sales report based on the user's initials, which means that you do not have to worry about selecting any fields at all, as long as they sign in with their own user ID.
