Does anyone know how to get the total shipment weight to print on the packing slip?
Thank you.

The weight calculator is under Formulas in Report Designer. You may need to get a customer form done to include this.
What is a customer form?
The packing slip form does not have weight under Formulas. The pick-ship report does, however the formula includes the command "@Line Weight", which when entered into the packing slip form just gives an error.
The Line Weight and Weight do not work because the Tables are not in the Packing Slip Form.
Table: UNIT_OF_MEASURE
I'm not sure if you need the INVENTORY table for it to work, I don't think you do.
By Tables do you mean Database Fields? Because I did add Unit of Measure as a Database Field, but I have no idea what Tables are if you are talking about something else.
TomJ meant 'custom form' which means you need to open the Packing Slip with Crystal Reports and modify the line items to add the weight field which comes from the UOM Table that links to the inventory table. Packing Slips have neither of these 2 tables so you will have to add and link them properly
Do you mean I have to have the individual weight display on each line to be able to get it to total? I did add the UOM but I will make sure it is linking to the inventory table.
So I did not add the inventory table the first time, but it is added now and the UOM links to it. The "@Line Weight" still does not work.
What error populates when you do this?
"This field name is not known."
Would you be able to forward me your report file so I could take a look at it?
There is no field in Business Vision called Total Shipment Weight. You will have to create your own formula in Crystal. Something along the lines of Total Shipped x Inventory Item Weight for each line on the packing slip and then do a Grand total at the bottom
I don't know how to do that, my knowledge of Crystal Reports is very limited. The thing is, that I copy and pasted the Total Shipment Weight formula from another report, but this one says the entry is "invalid" because "@Line Weight" does not exist. I can't figure out why it's saying that, or how to find the proper way to get "@Line Weight" to populate.
Copying the total formula from another report will NOT work if the wieght of each line item is not included in your report.
The pick ship list does not include the weight of each line item in it's report. But my question is, can you explain to me HOW to add the weight of each line item into my report?
We had a custom form done for preprinted NCR paper as a packing slip. Each item entered on the packing slip must have a weight under unit of measure. In Crystal Reports there is a field under Formulas @weight that needs to be add to the custom report, Details. The Sum of@weight (Number) at the bottom is where total weight of all items on the packing slip appears. Unless you are very familiar Crystal Reports best get a BV partner to help. Our supplemental form is shipping labels.
