Exporting from BV to a CSV File

Looking for some guidance in exporting data from BV (v2013 7.61a) into a CSV file (or Excel).


Been asked to assist in getting limited data out of BV in hopes of importing that into a web store. The fields we are looking to export from BV are basically the Part Number, Description and Selling Price fields.


Keeping in mind that I have never used BV and the team here is not familiar with these extra types of functions.


Any guidance or thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hi jdkerr,

    When logged into BusinessVision.

    Menu Bar:  File -> Export -> Standard. (a little window will pop up)

        Choose Inventory (Left Side), Choose Format (Right Side), Choose Delimiter (Right Bottom)

        I don't think you can choose just certain fields, I think its all or none.

        But I do believe in that version that you can export straight to Excel Format.

    Please login with high user access, as there is an option in the user settings to not allow export functionality.
