Cheque template error

SUGGESTED

I recently had to adjust a cheque template as a new logo on the cheque was covering the written words for the cheque amount.

I moved the "written words" down a line and saved it.

Now when we go to print a cheque we are getting an error "Tables can't be found"

I opened the form in Crystal Reports and verified the database. Still had the same error?

Hi Ron.  Thanks for your question.  Moving the "Amount in Words" will definitely not cause the problem since movement in the same section (different line) will simply move the text and nothing more.  Unless you have went into the formulas themselves and modified them I cannot see how you will get this problem since the formula references the TEMP_CHEQUE_HEADER table and the TEMP_CHEQUE_HEADER and TEMP_CHEQUE_DETAIL are native on the report.

My best suggestion is to restore a backup copy of the RPT file so it is working just before the modification.  Then, simply move the field down (within the same section) without adding your logo and resave the form.  Your form is guaranteed to work.  Once your placement of the "Amount in Words" is correct, then add your logo.  Backup before doing so.  Verifying of the database will not work since database changes themselves were not done.  For example:

•Fields have been added to the database.

•Fields that are not used in the report have been deleted from the database.

•Field positions have changed in the database.

•Data types have changed for fields in the database.
