Can you provide me with your workflow. I have tried this on my end and am getting a different result. What I did was created an order for a customer and changed the selling price for an item on the order. I saved the order. I then went to Customer Details, loaded that customer and changed their name. Went back to Order Entry, recall that order, at this point I do notice that the customer name is updated. I finally invoice the order and the selling price remained the same and did not revert back.

If I understand correctly:

- Create Order

- Enter all details for Order

- Save Order / Exit Order Entry or Create new Order

- Re-Call Saved Order

- Change Customer that the existing order was for.

If this is what you are referring to, then there is no way of retaining the sales prices, it will either revert to default or if you have Customer Specific Pricing for the customer.

We have a customer that is also looking for the same thing as they do P.O.S. as well as O/E, and it just happens to be the way they interact with their customers.

We are searching for a solution for said matter.

I see what you mean if you are doing a sale through the POS if there is not a customer account number present. If this is the case create a customer account for them and edit the name through POS while maintaining their customer number, this should help somewhat. We haven't had any problem while doing an order through "order entry", saving it, going into "customer" module and changing name and back to the saved order again.
