Emailing invoices using Windows7 and Outlook 2013 or 2010

Has anyone been able to email invoices from BV using Windows 7 64bit and Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013. Apparently something to do with mapi system changed by Windows 7. I have been trying to find a solution as most of our invoices are emailed to customers. It is a pain having to export to Adobe and then email from Acrobat. It used to work with older software!

The easiest and fastest way is with third party software.

Try the following:
Follow these steps in Microsoft Outlook 2013 to set up Outlook as the default email program.

Click File, Options
Under Outlook Options screen, select General
Select option Make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar
Click OK.
Close Microsoft Outlook and open again

Thanks Hueman, but no go. Read this many times and tried both in 2010 and 2013 outlook. It is already my default. This did not work at all.

Configure Microsoft Outlook as the default email program for the Microsoft Windows user ID.

Click Start, type regedit.
In the Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\Mail.
Right-click Mail, click Modify.
In the Value data: box type Microsoft Outlook.
Click OK.

Darn, I thought maybe we had an answer but the value data is already set to Microsoft Outlook. On goes the saga....thanks

Hello Theresa17. Look in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail and make sure the Defuakt value is Microsoft Outlook

Adding to this emailing invoice problem, what does work with email is the payment advice for our staff. I have it set up for some to "form and email" statement. This works but invoices don't!
