this does not even remotely answer my question so i will explain it a different way.

I am a contractor. I want to record billable hours/timsheet per day or activity and invoice once  week. I want to know if there is an option other than just entering it line by line per day and saving as a draft invoice. 

Quickbooks offers solutions for contractors, doe simply accounting offer that?

Thanks for those details. Note that simply accounting was renamed as Sage 50 CA and is a desktop based software. This forum is for SBCA (also known as Sage Accounting) a100% cloud native software solution. Could you confirm which product you're using?
