Importing client files from Quickbooks Desktop

SOLVED

Hello.  I am a bookkeeper and have signed up for Sage Accounting for Bookkeepers.  I need to move a client's files from Quickbooks Desktop into Sage.  What is the process for this?  Do I first need to create the client's account?  I looked at the website Movemybooks.ca, but it says they create an account in Sage - does this mean they create my account, or my client's account?  Thank you in advance for any helpful information!

Hello  and thank you for using the Sage community hub.

As far as creating the account, in your Sage Accounting Accountant Edition, you can create your client's account at any time. It needs to be Accounting PLUS just FYI, cannot be Accounting Start or Standard as they don't support migration.

Movemybooks will need the account ready once they have extracted your data from Quickbooks, so it can be then imported into your Cloud Accounting Plus for your clients. So you can create the account now or wait until Movemybooks successfully exports the data.

    Thank you for choosing Sage.
