Calling out to Sage customers, especially those in medium-sized businesses...can you help?
Last year at Sage we ran a pilot involving a small group of customers who were invited to use the Sage Earth carbon accounting tool, a cloud-based solution built to help SMBs measure their carbon footprint affordably and easily (it connects in with your accounting software, like Sage Business Cloud, Xero or Quickbooks). We learnt a lot from it, not least that the current version of Sage Earth is not fit for purpose for wide cross-sector adoption.
Now, we are actively researching how best to develop a new version of the Sage Earth tool that can also meet medium-sized business carbon reporting needs. We want to make a trustworthy, simple tool that meets the needs of as many businesses as possible.
The Sage Earth Customer team would love to set up some chats with businesses across different sectors and hear about the challenges you face in addressing sustainability and any reporting requirements you might have. Questions could include...
- Has your business measured its carbon footprint yet?
- Has a large customer in your supply chain requested a carbon footprint from your business?
- Or is this all completely new to you?
If the answer to the last one is Yes, we'd like to speak to you the most. We know this stuff is complex and time-consuming, and by hearing your pain points we can ensure that the next version of the Sage Earth tool that we develop helps simplify what businesses need to do as much as possible, as well as demonstrate the wider context and benefits sustainability can bring. Anything we set up would be at your convenience and should take around 45 minutes at most. Please reply to this post, or alternatively you can reach out directly to the Sage Earth team at [email protected].
