Sage MTD module v19042.1 that has Excel functionality

I'm just reviewing an document issued by Sage titled 'MTD Module comparison' stating that Sage were developing the MTD module to have 'Excel as source of data' which had a response of :

3This will require the use of the Excel report currently in development.

So looking at the newly released version I'm slightly puzzled as all thats present is an 'Export to Excel' button which as far as I can see has little more use than 'Print Screen'

Does anyone share my bemusement or is it only me that thought 'Excel as a source of data' meant adding an Excel import function (source== import) not an export fucntion?

    Just a heads up the Excel function has now been announced. ASE 41667 advises to contact BP Sales to get the Excel option added.

    For any module you add the Excel option too which you have installed already you'll need to re-activate the module to pull through the Excel option - ASE 43092 is a good guide for this.
