Hi, I have set up some rules on the bank feeds, and I wanted to check that it worked, so I downloaded the bank feeds, but when I go to Bank Feed Approval it's greyed out?
Anyone have any idea?

Have you ensured that the rules you setup were set to prompt you to approve these? IE see the highlighted section below:
If you have then your administrator/ manager may need to grant you access to Bank Feeds Approval in Sage 200 System Administrator. If you are using Sage 200 Standard/ Education Online this will be in:
Settings > Organisational and Financial > User Access.
Yes I have tried all those options and they seem to be ok? It's doing my head in now!!

Since you've setup the bank feed rules have you downloaded transactions which fall into those rules?
I thought I did but where I should have put 'contains' I used 'equals' instead! But now they won't even download, yesterdays's transaction on any of our 5 banks. I'll keep trying!

If you go to Cashbook > Utilities > Bank Feed Rules > Select the relevant Cashbook account > Are you able to Edit the rules?
Yes i can edit them, so I've changed it now. I was just testing the rule on one transaction to see if it worked. However for some reason none of yesterday's transaction will download? It's been fine for a month, just seems to have had a wobbly. we have 5 accounts linked in. None of them are downloading. We found it really useful! I hope it's just a blip and they will appear again soon! Or should I try reconnecting the banks through HSBC?
I'd keep an eye out here for any issues with your particular bank when it comes to Bank Feeds:

Sometimes from my experience there may be intermittent issues with specific banks which are here today and gone tomorrow so to speak and neither of the two linked websites will show this.
If it drags on I would suggest touching base with your Sage 200 support provider.
Thank you, I just noticed it had Paypal Business on that list? We use Paypal, I wonder if we can get them linked up?
