Hi Folks,

There are pending changes from both Irish Banks AIB & Bank of Ireland in relation to structure/content of SEPA XML creditor Payment files created as part of Payment Run.
Below are the main changes

Changes
The main change is the introduction of Structured Postal Address fields.
These new fields will be Postal Address Street Name, Postal Address Town Name & Postal Address Postcode.

Timeline
From 20 November 2023, you have the option to either send your Payment Files in the new version or continue in the existing version until November 2025.
From November 2025 the new standards of ISO 20022 will become mandatory.
After this date we will no longer accept the old version.

Are these changes on Sage's road-map to update?

I know there are a few ideas already submitted on the ideas hub around the SEPA payments file, (most at stage of Idea Accepted-Gauging Support)
Issues with files only being validated after payments have been posted and file has been created, multi currency etc.

So would be great to have all these changes rolled up with above required changes

The same plugins are used across Payroll, Sage 50 & Sage 200
