Amend journal upload to allow VAT types to be imported

You can currently import a journal into Sage 200 but you cannot import a VAT type, so if you have a large journal to enter, you have to either enter it manually, or import without VAT and then correct it.  Could this be amended so that you can import journals with VAT?

  • Agree and this would be especially useful for importing say credit card transactions, which can usually be downloaded first into an exel file, processed into the correct format with codes and vat etc ready for upload, via a csv file into Sage 200. You could do it with Sage 50 so why not Sage 200?. Currently the only way round this is to set up a supplier account for the credit card and import the transactions that way, but the format of the file does not look user friendly at all.
