Automatically clear disconnected logins

One of the cases we get most often, which I imagine is the same for almost every BP, are disconnected logins stopping a client from doing something. I believe having something built into the software that automatically detects a lock and shows this in the Disconnected Logins screen is great, but having to manually intervene with this seems a bit redundant. If the system is aware the user is disconnected, why not clear the record rather than keeping it in a table and requiring user input?

  • I think arbitrarily clearing disconnections without understanding why they are occurring if a bad idea as it could mask either a network issue, server issue or a lack of understanding from the users - i.e. it would be a bad idea to use task manager  to kill a Sage 200 session whilst its despatching sales orders that are traceable. That said  there can be a considerable number of disconnected login's recorded if you are using Sage CRM that is integrated.
