Importing - having a restriction for unbalanced Journals

When importing into Sage 200 you can import a one Sided Journal which would in some cases be necessary - would it be possible to have a check box to select balanced journals this would help ensure the dates and balances agree when importing into Sage

Hi David, you are correct that tick box does prevent unbalanced transactions overall. The Idea was more around date sensitivity on a Journal. For instance, if the Credit and Debit journals are recorded with differing dates in error, this can cause an imbalance on the specified date.

Hi Gordon unless I'm missing something there is a 'Transactions must balance' tick box on the nominal ledger import.
