Advantages of having multi-user access to company data

By default you always have at least one user login, which is manager. This user has access to do everything in the company dataset.

If more than one person in your company actually deals with the company accounts data, it is much more time efficient to have more than one user login. If you have a multi-user licence you can create multiple logins for other users, which allows you to have more than one person logged into the company data at any one time on other computers connected to the company data.

This would allow you to process your accounts twice as fast if two people were processing e.g invoices rather than just one. These other users could then also be granted access and process data from home or another remote location using Remote Data Access.

You can even configure what access you want other users to have, for example you may not want them to deal with e.g. purchase orders or suppliers. As a result this increases your options for people in your company to process data in your accounts, even if it is to just e.g. create and send out a quotation.
