Currently whilst it is possible to import journals into Sage 50 using the Excel/CSV import option, it is not possible to edited either values in Sage or to delete the entries. 

Whilst I appreciate that in some environments to be able to do this would or may impact data integrity, in others the impact if any will be minimal. 

It would be helpful to have an option to allow users to edit transaction items set up in Sage 50 using the import tool in Sage, in particular to able to amend or delete entries. 

It would seem to me that this may not be safe without some consideration of the architecture of the imported data, which does not seem to match exactly the structure that similar (or identical) data would have if it had been set up manually in Sage.
