Sage Accounts 50 not allowing further addition of existing companies to new PC with New 24.2 install

Question

Hi. 
 I have a new Windows 10 PC for our accounts team to try out before upgrading everyone and I've installed Sage Accounts 50 v24 and upgraded to V24.2. 
 Sage has allowed me to add 9 of the 25 companies, and then refuses to add the rest. Even though it can see and read the data, when clicking "continue" it just returns to the company file menu. 
 All the existing PC's with Sage Accounts 50 v24.2 as is the PC with the shared drive as a data source. All of these PC's are fine. 
 All of the company data has been upgraded to V24 and functions correctly on every other Sage Accounts 50 Install 
 What do I need to change or update further?

Hi Brendan. 
 If you try this. Log in to one of the existing companies > go to File > New > Company. 
 Try adding the company through that method and let me know if that works.

Hi Brendan. 
 If you try adding the paths manually in to the company file. 
 To do this press the Windows Key + R > paste this path in to the run box C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts > click ok. Go in to the latest year folder, 2018 for example. 
 Double click on the white file called company > choose notepad to open it. 
 You will see you the list of existing company data paths. Add any additional ones you need > go to file > save > close.
