Office 365 Sage 50c integration problems for months now

We started the integration of Office 365 and Sage some months ago now and have ongoing problems which means we have not deployed across the organisation and starting to loose patience really. Has anyone else suffered or are suffering similar problems? The Sage Office 365 staff are great but it takes a while to Sync for example so you then connect back to another expert who tries the same things albeit in a different order. By now I know what they are going to try and that it either wont work or only partially work for a while. In summary Sage works fine - no problems. Office 365 linkage set up OK. In Outlook if you click Sage Contact it works (why do you have to click login EVERY time though). It used to show multiple entries with the same account number and same name which is impossible as accounts would need to be unique. For the moment that has gone (but I've been here before and it comes back!). Now the details of the Contact are correct but in the History for that contact you see another contacts History - one you have accessed before but when you changed contact, clicked Sage Contact, logged in (each time!) it has retained the History data from a previous contact and not refreshed it Sage Capture - works 'OK' but add anew account into Sage and it doesn't show in Sage Capture! Recent work has not fixed this yet - and yes I have refreshed the data on the Sage Capture App etc etc etc Overall the Sage 50c Office 65 linkage is looking like a set of half working, error prone features. Tell me I am wrong or please come clean and acknowledge you have a problem. In the meantime I upgraded the staff to Office 365 Professional to use this functionality and that additional cost has not yet bought ANY of that functionality!

  • Paul - I have been doing that for months now as I mentioned and am still in contact with them. However i was seeking to find out if others were experiencing similar issues and how they had got on?

  • I have the exact same problem and am an Accountant partner, my exact same issue has been escalated and is still not working.
  • Pamela, Sage contacted me after the post above. I am assuming you are ‘the one other customerâ€Tm they had with this issue (I suspect a case of the TSBs on that!). The problem was solved a little more. Thereâ€Tms a fix to do on every PC though so laborious. To be honest this took so very long it fell down the priority list. I am only around 50% certain if I found the time it would all work - for instance the Sage Capture App looked good but didnâ€Tmt work reliably at all but we found a much better solution in ExpenseIn and that links to Sage 50c also. I was also looking to use Sage Intelligencevfor our Management Information reports but the months of trying to get Sage 50c Office 365 linkages Working meant we missed the start of our financial year. I may pay it a visit later this year for Jan onwards but Iâ€Tmm not very confident it will deliver.
