Inactive stock records

Question

Hi 
 
 We have a number of inactive stock records which relate to items early in the company history such as "Screw" which is now separated into different sizes ie "screw-set1/4BSFx1" 
 I have marked all the early records that are not required as inactive and the description changed to "duplicate - delete" so that they are not muddled with current stock items. Is it possible to archive these records altogether so that they do not appear on the stock list (even when including inactive)?

Hi Sarah, 
 Thanks for using our Product Support Community. 
 No that you have changed the name of these stock records that you want to hide to &lsquo;duplicate &ndash; delete&rsquo;. You can create a filter using the Filter button and apply the following filter: 
 
 Join: Where 
 Field: Department name 
 Condition: Is Not Equal To 
 Value: duplicate &ndash; delete 
 
 Select Apply then Close . 
 This will then hide all stock records called duplicate &ndash; delete.
