    Hi Gordon,

I'm afraid there isn't a Price List upload template as you are not able to use File > Import to upload your Price lists.

You can feed back on this by clicking the Ideas? option at the top of this page, but in the meantime, click here to view our help guide on File Import that will advise what can and can't be done.

    Hi Adam
    Many thanks
But there is an Import Function Button on the Customer Price List Edit Screen which asks you to then Browse to a file location in the "Import Customer Price List" dialog box. How do I use this function?
    Many thanks

    Hi Gordon,

Apologies for the confusion, I thought you were referring to the File > Import option in the program.

You can import product prices onto any customer or supplier price list that is set up in Sage 50 Accounts. You can also use the import process to add new products onto a price list.

When you import product prices onto a price list, the calculation method is Fixed Price.

The details you import must be in a comma separated value (CSV) format or in a text (TXT) file and in the following structure:

    Product Code, Price list price

    For example:

    STOCK001, 100.00

    To import, please follow these steps;

    • Products and services, Customers or Suppliers > Price lists.
    • Select the price list you want to import details onto > Edit.
    • Import > Browse > locate the required file > Open.
    • Continue > check the details are correct.
    • If you want to clear the existing price list, select Remove all items from the Price List prior to importing.
    • If you only want to see errors when you import, select Hide warnings, errors will still be displayed.
    • If you want to remove any of the items you've imported, select the item line > Delete Line.
    • Apply > Save > Close.

If you still have issues with this, please let me know.
