There may be occasions where the figures on your Aged Debtors do not reconcile to Debtors Control account on your Trial Balance. There are a number of reasons why this may happen.

The guide Paul has sent over will take you through each reason that this issue can happen (E.g. Journal Posted to Debtors Control, Future Allocation Dates etc). 

Do you know which of these your particular transaction falls under?

Hi Jeremy,

This will indicate why the balances are not balancing, the Sales Receipt and invoice have been allocated with a date that is later than the date you are reconciling the TB and Aged Debtors report.

The program will not pick this up as it doesn't know when you would be running the reports to.
