Partial backup and restore

Hi,

I want to restore just 1 years data from consolidated backup having 9 years data? The backup has a history of 9 years and the files are so heavy that it keeps on corrupting data. I want to backup the data in segments of years and restore only what I need and when I need.

I have created a new file for my Company and want to bring just last one year's records into that. How can I do that?

Hi Amit,

It’s not possible to restore only part of a backup. When you restore a backup in Sage Accounts, the whole dataset of the backup is restored.

However, you can log this as a suggestion to improve our Sage Accounts software on our Ideas Community: https://communities.sage.co.uk/ideas/

To log your idea select Sage 50 Accounts and then Submit an idea.
