Is there a fix to stop SDO switching off?

Hiya, 

 

We have Sage SDO enabled to integrate with third party software. I have entered the serial number and activation key. However, I'm having a recurring problem where it works for a week or so before switching off and I have to re-enable it by re-entering the serial number and activation key. 

 

Is there any reason why this keeps happening and any fix to prevent it?

    Thanks for using our Product Support Community. I’m sorry for the delay in replying.

    To register and use Sage Data Objects (SDO), Sage Accounts needs to write information to the sdoeng.usr file. If the current user doesn't have the required permission to do this or the permission is lost, the serial number and activation key won't work and the SDO connection won’t be established or will be lost.

    To ensure that Sage Accounts has the required permission to write to the sdoeng.usr file, log on to your computer as an administrator and enter the serial number and activation key again if required.
