Old Invoices Somehow Resent By Email

SOLVED

Help - last night I managed to accidentally send an unknown quantity of old invoices out by email. As the emails are sent by webmail I had hoped to be able to log into that account and see a list of sent emails, but Sage doesn't put a copy of the email in the 'sent' folder. I have already had several customers puzzled as to why they have a two year old invoice just arrived. Anybody know how I can find out what was sent, to whom and when?

    Hi Amanda,

Due to the nature of SMTP settings, the emails do not hit the mailbox you are sending from.  Instead they are sent from Sage to the internet and directed to the destination email address based on the SMTP settings you have entered.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to see what has been sent out via SMTP email so it may be a case of either emailing all of your customers to advise of this error, or reply to the queries as they come in, whichever is most efficient for you.

Thank you Adam. The first option is not practical, as there were also quite a few genuine current invoices sent out. If I tell them they were sent in error it will confuse the matter further and I will be chasing payments on them. I guess we will just have to carry on fielding the puzzled calls and emails, but it is very frustrating not to be able to at least pull up a report on emails sent.
