Archive Login for new Users

I have some current users that login to Sage 50 Accounts who cannot login to archives due to data being locked when archived. I have been told they can login with manager, but because of different access rights for each user this is not helpful and therefore they are unable to access any data prior to when they had their usernames created.

    Hi Alan,

    The archived data is the same as backups of your live data with regards to access, i.e. if the username isn’t present in the data at the time the archive is taken, it is not recognised if you try to use it at a later stage. This is because the archived data is separate to your live data, meaning any changes made in your live data, including new users, doesn’t affect your archived data.

    It’s not currently possible to change the way this works in the software, however, you can log this as a suggestion to improve our Sage Accounts software on our Ideas Community: https://communities.sage.co.uk/ideas/
