Sage V23 32 bit ODBC driver

Where can i get the standalone 32 bit ODBC driver for Accounts V23?

  • Hi Rachel,

The Sage Accounts ODBC driver is installed as part of the Sage 50 Accounts software. It can’t be installed without Sage 50 Accounts being installed on the machine too.

However, if you need to reinstall the Sage Accounts ODBC driver for any reason you can follow the steps in Ask Sage article 19136.

  • Hi,

I've installed the Sage V23 using Sage50AccountsV23September2016Improvements.exe and the ODBC32 folder is no longer located in the install directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Accounts).

    Thanks.
  • Hi Rachel,

There’s an ODBC installer, for both 32-bit and 64-bit, on the Sage 50 Accounts v23 CD. You can run this to reinstall the ODBC.

If you don’t have a CD for Sage 50 Accounts v23 you can contact our Customer Care team on 0845 111 6666 or at [email protected] and they can send one out for you.

  • You can get the 64 bit ODBC driver from here... still looking for the 32 bit version... it's lame that I am looking at having to install the whole application on a web server simply to get the ODBC driver installed... SORT IT OUT ... this has been an ongoing issue for years... now, as others have noted, the downloaded Sage50AccountsV23September2016Improvements.exe silently installs the ODBC driver and does not create an ODBC folder that you can get the ODBC driver from... but the CD has it on there?!?!?!?!?!?!? SAGE is becoming more and more like Crystal Reports every release... a pain in the posterior!
