Invalid password after Sage 50 essentials auto-update upgrade and then following computer crash during data conversion to new upgrade version.

Sage 50 essentials just asked to auto update. I allowed and selected Upgrade instead of separate install. Then when installed, it needed to convert data. However, computer crashed during this. After some hassle and a Windows 10 massive and long winded upgrade later, I went to start Sage 50 Essentials. This time, 'password is invalid' and I can't get into Sage at all. Any ideas?? Note: I haven't changed the password, just done the upgrade. Thanks in advance for any help given :)

OK. Got past the invalid password screen after reboot. However, on the company select screen, it says "data service unavailable on this machine" ?? - thanks - Poz

For issues connecting to the data service, refer to this article on our Help Centre.

If the issue persists after completing all steps, I recommend contacting a technician on 0845 111 55 55 so we can troubleshoot further.

No worries :) I'm up and running. I just completely uninstalled, got a one time download from support and started from scratch and this sorted out the problem. Then I restored and converted v22 data to v23 and VOILA - thanks.
