Sage 50 Essentials v22.1.10.394 will not update to 22.0.9.268

Software tells me I need the update. Update downloads and executes but about half way through I get 'failed to update file C:\Program files (x86)\Sage\Instant  Accounts v22\Accounts\SGHelp.chm. Do you wish to continue with update?'. I say yes then I get 'Update failed. Please try again'. Annoying as cannot access my data as in continuous loop. Using Windows 10.

Any ideas? Please help.

    To update your Sage 50 Accounts Essentials software from version 22.0.9.268 to version 22.1.10.394 browse to www.sage.co.uk/accountsupdates > drop Sage 50 Accounts v22 into the drop-down box.

    Once done, click on the link to download and install the Sage 50 Accounts v22 - May 2016 Improvements update > Run > Run.

    Once installed click OK and you should now be able to access your Sage 50 Accounts Essentials software.

    If the message 'Failed to update file (path to specific file). Do you wish to continue with the update?' continues to appear, please refer to Ask Sage article 25109 to resolve this.
