Upgrading from 2012 to 2016, do the layouts need redesigning ?

Apparently Sage 50 2016 has a new report designer, does this mean when we upgrade from 2012 to 2016 we need to redo all the layouts ?

Hi Alistair,

I can confirm that the Report Designer in Sage 50 Accounts 2016 is no different to that of 2012. There are more variables to add due to the changes in the layout of the main program, but the Report Designer is the same.

Therefore when you upgrade, you will not need to redesign your layouts.
