Sage 50 and Sage Drive Problems

Following a recent data corruption in sage 50 linked to SageDrive and discussions with the support team I have discovered that Sage can corrupt its data if your internet speeds drop below the required minimum.  I was told that the corruption is my error and now have to pay approx £400 to have data fixed on an overnight service, they also offer as free 1.5 working day service which is of no use as this will interrupt our business.

One of the fundamental rules of database's (as and ex-database developer) is Consistency, i.e that the data in the database will remain valid after transactions are completed, which is clearly not the case when linked to SageDrive

Please be extremely careful when connecting to sage drive as there seem to be fundamental flaw in the system which may hit you in the pocket!
