'Sage 50 account service v22' and 'Sage 50 account service v24' are both simultaneously installed and running.

Is it correct that services 'Sage 50 accounts service v22' and 'Sage 50 accounts service v24' are both simultaneously installed and running on a Windows 2008 R2 Server after upgrading SAGE 50 Account from Ver. 22 to Ver. 24 ?

Also services 'SAGE 50 Accounts control v22' and ' Sage 50 Accounts Control v24' are both present and running.

    Hi Sandra,

    Usually the data service will be replaced with the more up to date one.

    However on v22 it was possible to install the data service separately to the main program so it would show independently.

    This won't cause any problems and you can uninstall the v22 Data Service via the Control Panel if you like and it will have no impact on your current program.

    Hi Adam,
    thank you for your quick answer.
    I checked in 'Programs and Features' but no 'v22 Data Service' item is present.
    Only the main 'Sage 50 Accounts' installation and a 'EBankingCoreTestInstaller' installed long before.
    Should I uninstall this 'EBankingCoreTestInstaller'?
    Can I also stop and disable v22 Data Service?

    Hi Sandra,

    If you do not use v22 of the software then feel free to disable the data service for that version.

    If you also do not use E Banking within the program, feel free to remove the EBankingCoreTestInstaller.

    I hope this helps.
