    Hi Rajakumar,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

Sage 50 / 50cloud Accounts v23 and above are all compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit variants of Windows Server 2016 (except  Windows Server 2016 Essentials), so as long as you’re using one of these versions of Sage 50 / 50cloud Accounts you’ll be able to use it on Windows Server 2016.

You can find full info on installing your Sage 50 / 50cloud Accounts software here.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you.

At this moment we are not upgrading the Windows server where Sage50 is installed. We are just going to upgrade our Active Directory from windows server 2008 R2 to Windows 2016. Does this Active Directory upgrade to Windows 2016 have any impact on the sage application for users who log in using with their Active Directory user account? Thanks in Advance !!!

    Ok, thanks Rajakumar.

Sage is designed to be used on a standard network share, e.g. LAN, therefore it’s only tested and supported on this. We recommend that the Data Services are running where the data is held, however if you experience any issues we’ll be limited to what we can support you with if you’re running Sage remotely rather than via a LAN.
