Program updates not available in the Downloads section

While looking for the 24.3.237.0 update from 24.2.228.0 for a client, I found that this was not listed in the Updates section of the downloads page, or the new downloads area, but was only available by going to KB26323 Sage Accounts Software Updates.

When doing a large number of updates on networked client computers, we turn off automatic updates so that we can choose the most appropriate time to update the server and clients, and it would be very useful to have the latest update listed in the correct place so that I can download it on to my software updates folder on the server ready to deploy.

This will probably also be the case when I update them to v25, as I don't want users installing the Hotfix themselves, or they can't because they don't have admin.

    I'll feedback to the web team that the update is not listed on the download centre website.

    An alternative location for our minors updates can be found at www.sage.co.uk/au

    v25 has the same options for turning off automatic updates but we also now have the option to delay updates by 2 weeks if you choose to have automatic updates turn on.

    Thanks for the information Ian, in fact sage.co.uk/au redirects to KB26323 so at least I was in the right place!

    Yes, I have used the v25 update settings but I still feel that turning auto updates off completely is the safest option where there are lots of network users who do not have rights to install updates anyway, and if one did have rights, and thought it was a good idea to update, this could trigger an undesirable data upgrade over the network rather than on the server, and also potentially lock out every other user! Not a good situation to allow to happen.
