BACKING UP WinRAR

Hi very basic knowledge of Sage 50 but its backing up as WinRAR archiver (Type of File WinRAR(.001) and when I try to open (as a test) it is saying ' The archive is either in unknown format or damaged' Quite concerned about this - any reassurance is welcome ! Not trying to restore

Hi,

Thanks for using Sage City.

This file cannot be opened up by double clicking on it. You can only use it to restore your data within Sage 50 Accounts.

You can do this by going to File within Sage 50 and Restore then browse to the backup .001 file.
