Unable to email invoice from Office 365

Good Morning,

One of our clients are unable to email invoices etc from within Sage, when we try we get the following error message.

" Please install office update: Redistributable Primary interop assemblies to run function."

The office version is office 365 (fully up to date). This only happens on one machine out of three and this is the only machine with office 365 on it.

I have searched for hours online and it seems to be a common issue but with no solution ?

Could someone advise on possible solutions ?

Thanks in advance !

    Hi,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

I would recommend checking the version number and Bit of Outlook. You can do this by going to Outlook > File > Office Account > About Outlook

You can find system requirements for Sage Accounts here Sage 50 only works with 32bit of Outlook and 2019 Office only works with v25.1.

You can also use our troubleshooting guide.

If this fails i would recommend uninstalling both Sage Accounts and Microsoft Outlook and then installing Outlook first and then Sage Accounts.

    Hi,

Unfortunately after following all these methods the problem still remains, The only thing I would add to the original problem is that the users at this company do not have local admin rights on the machine although I cant see that this would cause an issue as I believe other clients with restrictions are able to do this.

Is there anything else that you can suggest or any known issues that I can investigate ?

    Thanks
