Sage 50c Scheduled Backups not running

We have recently moved onto Sage 50c V26 and we backup onto our server each night using the scheduled backup, this worked fine on v25 and for the first 2 days on v26. 

Since then it has stopped working. I have made several calls to the support line and they cannot fix this issue. 

Our IT manager has checked the path to the server for the backup location is correct, deleted the Queue.DTA file in Temp folder. 

We have restarted the accounts and data manager services on our server and rebooted our server.  We have checked for updates and nothing seems to be solving this issue.

I only noticed this as I had to run our VAT return and noticed the date of the last backup was a day previous to what it should be so thankfully I have been doing manual backups since then.

The Backup manager shows the schedule backup and check data is on and yet it also shows Process not run, so no results available.  I have checked the settings and these are all correct.

Is anyone else experiencing this please?  Would you mind checking your scheduled backups are working? Would you notice if they weren't?

    I’ve had the same issue. On our server I’ve disabled the various Sage services which were running for older versions. This seems to have fixed it at the moment but until it’s been running without issue for a few weeks I won’t be confident. Anyway thought this might help you, if you’ve found any other way to resolve it let me know.
