Purchase order help

SUGGESTED

Hi

I'm looking for an add on that will help me find what sales order a purchase order that has just had stock allocated is linked to.

Ideally I would allocate a purchase order for say 1 banana, 1 apple, and 1 orange and the add on would tell me that the banana is for order 123, the apple is for order 124 and the orange is for stock.

At the moment I am running a shortfall report every morning to Excel, printing the purchase orders and checking each individual item against the excel spreadsheet. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it and it would save so much time if it was possible.

Thanks for any help

    Hi.

    Thanks for using Sage City.

There isn't any option or report in Sage that would show exactly that.

What you can do is take a look at www.sage.co.uk/additions to see if there's any third party applications which would give you this.

Let me know if you need anything else.

    Hi Sean

Thanks for the reply. I’ve had a look on the additions site over the last couple of days but can’t seem to find anything. Do you know if there’s any that are likely to have that functionality that I can check out?

    Thanks for any help

    Hi Murray,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

There isn't one we would recommend i am afraid we don't really have much more involvement with them from a functionality perspective. What i would do is look at ones that deal specifically with purchase and sales ordering and drop them an call/email direct.

As if using the data objects linking 3rd party software's should be able to do this.
