There could be a few things which may be affecting this. If you go to file > maintenance > check data, are there any errors, warnings and comments relating to products and/or allocations?

You can also try the recalculate stock and recalculate order allocations option within recovery tools, if you haven't already done so.

Thank you, I finally managed to get it fixed, something had gone wrong in the background so the recovery tools worked.

Now I have just got to find a report or edit one to produce a production schedule showing quantities to be built in certain periods of time.  I have the BOMS sorted out.  But the stock shortfall reports are all  for full orders and the orders we get cover over a year.  Fun times
