Problem with Window Restore in new version 27

SUGGESTED

I have just upgraded to version 27.0.469.0 and have discovered that if the main desktop is minimized to the taskbar by clicking the minimize button on the top right of the window, it will not restore. To get it back I have to right click the icon in the taskbar and select Close Window and then select cancel when the exit program dialog prompting to backup appears. The window will then restore normally.

A similar thing occurs when minimizing a pop-up window such as the Supplier Record window, but this can be restored by right clicking its icon in the taskbar and selecting Restore.

If I minimize the program desktop when a pop-up window is also open such as the Supplier Record, then the window restores properly.

Has anyone else got this problem, or is it an issue with my installation?

As I mentioned previously, I am having the same issue, I also have to log in twice each day, firstly by using my email address/password and then the usual login screen, is this right for this version or is it another issue with V27?

+1 to this. I'm not a Sage user myself, but I support it locally. Colleagues are reporting that they have to sign into Sage Drive each day, despite ticking the 'Remember me' box.

For info, we were already using Sage Drive with v26. I wasn't sure what to do with the current v26 cloud data, so just left it there, assuming I would be prompted to overwrite it - but this didn't happen. The (old) Sage Drive page still says 'If the company has been upgraded to version 27, it will no longer be shown in the Sage Drive Management Centre.' - but it is still there. The upload date confirms this.

Should I delete the old company data in Sage Drive?

    Hi Jon,

I’d recommend giving us a call or pop up on web chat before deleting anything. Without looking at the setup I wouldn’t want to recommend anything without checking a few things first. I can confirm that you shouldn’t be getting promoted for a sage ID repeatedly.
