Sage 50 Accounts Plus V22 - Reinstall to create most up-to-date all singing and all dancing standalone V22

Hi

I've just done a fresh install of Windows 10 Professional x64.  I created an iso to automatically install Sage 50 Accounts as part of an unattended install process.

However, that was just Version 22.0.9.268 and had to install the Sage 50 Accounts v22 - May 2016 Improvements to bring it up to version 22.1.10.394.  

SDB Desktop Version 12.1.586.0 (Not sure if this is for Cloud installation I once tried but then moved away from?)

In the About section, it currently states, Service Pack 5 is installed, whereas my previous installation on the old PC was "Bank Feeds, Service Pack 2, Service Pack 2 (yes, twice!) and Service Pack 5" with Internet Submissions Module 2.0.0.? (last digit(s) obscured by mouse cursor in photo I took).

Would someone kindly be able to tell me what the following:-

1) What is the Sage 50 Accounts V22 - Full Program (Sub) for and do I actually need that now I am running 22.1.10.394?
2) Do I need Sage 50 Accounts V22 - Data Service Installer and its (Sub) or is that solely for server install situations?
3) What other updates I need to install to extract maximum operability eg do I need to install Excel Integrated Reporting, Reports Only Backups, etceteras?
4) What about Additional Content section in the Download Centre?  There is a lot of information in there to look through!!!

    Thanks for the advice.

    I'll now be able to re-install Sage confident in the fact that I have a fully working programme with all my previous forms and layouts.

    Considering I asked this question 19 days ago and I now have 5 days to file our company accounts, I am somewhat surprised to have received no help, advice or otherwise.

    Is this forum actually defunct?

    Forum is still active but responses from Sage take a little while depending on the question. As you are using v22 and a lot of people are now using v28 there wont be many forum users who can still help you.

    Hi Roger,

    Thanks for using Sage City, and apologies for the delay in this reply, your query seems to have slipped throught the net.

    To answer your points in turn:

    1) For v22, the version number you've given is correct, the "sub" part just refers to "subscription version".

    2)The data service installer is only required when the data is to be held on a server that does not have an installation of the full program, so in the situation you describe it isn't required.

    3) You don't require Excel integrated Reporting or Report only backups.

    4) If you need additional reports etc they are available in the downloads area but none of these are essential.

    I should also mention that the current version of Sage 50 Accounts is v28 and that v22 is no longer supported, the latest versions are documented in the following article >
