I'm guessing you'd have to export that filtered data (From Transactions) to Excel and manipulate there

ok thanks. I am not sure I know how to do this so was hoping someone might have more advice on this.

There's no "3 step" easy solution I'm afraid.

I've added a screenshot of a transaction filter to select a year's worth of data. Then once applied use the Send to Excel button next to the Reports button - this will take a while as you cant filter on a range of nominal codes.

Then I added a Pivot Table, selected the required Nominal Codes and then inserted a Chart and got the following (as an example) but not sure if that's what you're hoping for.......

So, I just tried to do this and got no where. Sorry, I thought this would be fairly simple. All I want to do it see a total figure for net sales in a particular nominal code between 2 dates and then I could easily make a small chart manually. I need these figures so I can see my turnover (with UK & International & EC sales breakdown) in a 12 month period for insurance purposes.

Did you apply the filter first ?

In Excel did you try a Pivot table or something simple? If necessary remove any nominal code that is not in the required range by deleting the data from the spreadsheet.
