All, I have removed and re added widget to same effect.  Have also shared dashboard with another "Manager" user and they get same zero result.  Do we have details of the calculation / source data? so that I can look if they exist and or make sense.

I'd refer you to this conversation I had about 4 months ago but you can also Google Debtor Days Calculations. I reckon mine should be showing about 24 days

Hi Ken,  Thanks for the response but it was not the financial calculation I was after but rather how Sage looks to do the calculation.  

That conversation is talking about how Sage does the calculation. We do have an open bug logged currently around this but as yet have not been able to replicate the issue.

Hi Darron,   Conversation says that it does "Debtor days = (Debtors total / Total sales for the last 12 months) x 365" which is the standard financial calculation of debtor days Sage or otherwise.  What I was looking for is how Sage looks to do the calculation or in other words where is sage pulling that data from.  Which data tables? so that I might understand recreate / test with ODBC to see which element of the calculation might be failing.  My guess without having the answer to the question asked would be the 12 month sales figure, as the debtor figure should be the more readily available value as per nominal and trial balance views.

So we do the calculation as per that conversation. Debtors total is the sum of any 'sales' transaction (AUDIT_SPLIT), or transaction for the debtors control account nominal code in the last 12 months. The sales total is then the sum of any SI or SC transaction in the same period. These figures are then simply plugged in to the formula and this is the result you see on the dashboard. The only gotcha is the one mentioned above where we deliberately return a zero if the calculation results in a negative value.

Thanks.  Per the above I can identify the source information and no issues with negatives being present.   

I am going to park this now as hopefully v29 will provide the magic fix.  Has been an interesting exercise in any case as I am currently reviewing our software needs going forwards.
